Hey, there's a song where I'm trying to play a D^7sus2 chord (playing the notes D, E, A, C#).
The D2 chord is pretty close (D, E, A), but I'd really love to get the C#. Is there any alternate name for the maj7sus2 chord that I'm missing?

Have you tried a maj9 ? D^9
Another idea to try is Dmaj7/E.

When I play that on my piano, I hear A/D. Just an A triad with a D bass note.Quote:
