Cannot view song charts

Hello.

I'm having a problem viewing song charts on Nexus 4, Android 4.4.2.

I've followed the instructions in Android Manual at http://www.irealb.com/support/android-manual/, namely:

View a song chart - simply tap on the title of the desired song in the Songs or Playlists index. To return to the index, tap the BACK button at the bottom of the screen.
Note: song charts will display in portrait mode only.
By swiping left or right you can easily go to the previous or next song.

... but when I do I can only view part of the chart due to playback/tempo controls obscuring the view.
I'm probably missing something (glaringly) obvious, but still would like to know how I can view the entire chart, please?

Tap on the actual chart (white part) and the player control will disappear.

Now I'm embarrassed. I thought I'd tapped everywhere. To make it worse, I discovered that clicking on the title also makes the control disappear. I really can't understand why this made me struggle enough to post here.
