Importing the same songs more than once

Hi everyone! Long-time irealbook/irealb user, first time poster. Love the app, especially now I have the player feature and can add my own songs :D

Just wondering something, though - when I import playlists, they often contain some of the same songs. When I do this, these songs are added to my list but renamed with a number at the end, which means my playlist gets really long and has many duplicates.

Is there a way I can set it so that any songs imported with the same name are simply not added?

Short answer: I don't think so. Unless an imported file is an exact duplicate of a file you already have, it will import and if necessary, it will automatically get a (new) version number.
