Help with chord change rhythms

I want to set up a chord change to change on up beats. For example: a dotted quarter followed by an eight note. Is there a way to do that

I think for the player to play it you can do that by dividing the particular bar to eight small pieces but unfortunately there is no "writing kicks above the bar" feature so that people who play could understand and read it ...

The only way is to write the song double time, so one real bar is two bars of iReal b... Then, of course, the drum and bass lines double as well, usually - but not always - what you didn't want.
