all the buttons are a sort of bright grey, and you can barely make out he actual symbols behind them.
Went to preferences and reset all settings - still the same...Attachment 394
The rest of the update is awesome!

Thanks for your information.
What OS is your Mac on?
Have you any System preferences>Accessibility, display settings set to anything other than their defaults (have you changed any of them)?
Thanks
OS is:
yosemite - 10.10.5
i don't have any strange display settings in accessibility going on.
If i am the only one with this problem then maybe there was an error on install? (it did take a very long time, and my internet connection was playing up yesterday)
If i use the backup function from the file menu will all my charts and playlists be restored? - i really can't afford to loose any of them!
I presume i open the backup from the "open" command in the file menu?
Just checked it on Yosemite 10.10.5 and it looks fine.
2 possible solutions:
1. In iReal Pro, go to Preferences and Reset All Settings.
2. Could you check your MacBook's settings? Click on the Apple on the top left, then About this Mac/System Report/Software/Accessibility.
Email us directly please.
Yes, if you make a backup, you can simply drag and drop it over the iReal Pro icon in your Dock to import them.
already tried reset all settings in irealpro ...
this is my accessibility report.. don't know how to email you directly!

I will try tomorrow to reinstall and use the backup...
Let us know if it solved the issue.
Email us through the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page.
I'm sorry about the hassle.
Yes run a backup before you reinstall (make sure it arrives in email before you proceed) but this is just a precaution because your songs are stored in your user area not within the app itself. Delete the app then download again (you are not charged if you are logged into the same iTunes account that purchased it). The songs are automatically loaded so when you open all should be there.
This has confused me - I have used the "backup" option from the file menu - and saved it to the desktop.
I hope that will be suffice to get my songs and playlists back for desktop version..
why should it arrive by email? for mobile devices to be able to restore?
Thanks for the support.
Sorry my bad. Yes just save it to the desktop. I was thinking iOS as I had just been on it.
Oops.
It will load from where they actually are (not from the backup). The backup (where you put them on your desktop is just if some thing goes wrong for some reason. It can be deleted afterwards if you like or kept as a backup).
Sorry for the confusion.
Argh, no joy.
I trashed the app, (but didn't empty trash) re-installed from the app store, opened app, was pleased to see all my tunes/playlists but on pressing "edit song" got the same odd looking editor menu.
should i try again and empty trash or is that pointless?
Please email us at support@irealpro.com with a screenshot of your Accessibility settings so we can check the app with your settings.
Thank you!
Same issue here Mac High Sierra, in edit mode, the edit chord box has white text that can't be seen easily, except by cursor moving over the text.....this is in version 20.20.7.1
Makes editing chords a bit weird....any solutions? Thanks...
I think I solved this one , at least for myself.....in the accessibility settings, I had "increase contrast" and perhaps "reduce transparency" checked.....unchecking them made the chord names visible on the editing area ......so that's seeming to be that.....
Maybe your solution will be helpful to others.
Thanks for sharing
