The double line works for the second ending but not the first.
If I take out the previous bar line it looks normal but then there is no bar line in the previous bar:blush:

Please post "problem" charts in iRp format so they can be directly imported into the editor.
To fix it, don't use double-bar signs to start 1st/2nd endings, use singles.
Example:
Black And White - Django Reinhardt

If I understand your problem, put a double barline at the end of the second system (the measure preceding the first measure of the first time section on the system above on the right).
Does this playback as you want?
Endings problem
Sorry for the delay and thanks for the help already tendered.
This is the song it plays well it just doesn't look right with the thick bar line at the first ending . I'm trying to get the first ending to have a thin double line.
Fly Me To The Moon ______Bob 1 - Bart Howard
I was able to get the double bar on at the end of the previous staff but it isn't consistent with the second ending.
Fly Me To The Moon ______Bob 1 - Bart Howard
This looks ok on my iPad mini:
Fly Me To The Moon ______Bob 2 - Bart Howard

yes ,I suppose it works but I feel the second section(first and second endings) is a legitimate "B" section and deserves a thin double bar.
Like this?
Fly Me To The Moon ______Bob 3 - Bart Howard
:))BOB
Yes That's it!
So was it the addition of the A B and C sections that did it?
many thanks Bob
