I picked EAST OF THE SUN at random to learn, and made up a chart out of the changes in my Hal Leonard book which is slightly different from Bobsax's chart. I placed it at 112 BPM as this seemed like a fitting tempo if I was going to sing it.

There's no Eb major in this chart. The only two Eb chords are the Eb13 (in the intro) and the Ebm(Maj7) in the A section.Quote:

Thanks I’ll make the change. You should probably change it. It needs the 7 after the triangle. It seems redundant since the Triangle actually stands for major 7 . I’ve complained about this in the past.
I'm not sure what you meant. The chart I've posted displays correctly the Ebm(Maj7) chord (on my Android device anyway). If it doesn't on yours, it could be a bug. Could you export and post an image file of the chart so I can see how it looks like in your device?Quote:

There's no need to add a "7" after the triangle. The triangle symbols already implies that it means major 7. Triad major chords (1, 3, 5) don't use any symbols, just the chord letter. So same rule applies for minor(major 7) chords: minus sign (or dash) with a triangle is enough. I always use the strict minimum symbols to avoid overlapping chords in busy chartsQuote:

When chord qualities are displayed IN BLUE in the editor, I think it means that the chord quality is NOT RECOGNIZED (or preferred) by the player (and only the chord’s root bass note will sound) but, the quality will display as written. The chord picker drop-down is lengthy. It took 3 screenshots to get it all as I scrolled through.
If the chord -∆ appear in blue in the editor, it's probably because your iReal pro version is too old. Those new chord symbols have been recently added. Try to upgrade to the most recent version
The latest chord-picker only includes the -Δ7. You are correct that the -Δ is supported.Quote:

iRealPro version 2023.11.2 and earlier versions require a seven after the triangle on a minor/major 7.
Do later versions not require it?
I can't download a later version as my Mac OS is not high enough.
