Hi,
Is it possible jump to the coda manually? In other words, repeat form (without coda) an indefinite number of times and then jump to the coda only manually or on command. Is this possible? Or there another way to jump to an song ending after an indefinite number of song forms?

Thanks, BOB. For the purposes of this jazz jam we want to keep the number of song form repeats open. I guess as a work around, I'll create a duplicate on the song consisting of only the final section of the original song and then an ending (with no repeats or codas). So, we'll play along with the original track, stop the track the end, and continue playing our ending as best as possible after the track stops. If our ending sucks, we'll play along with the new track. That should be fairly straightforward.

That's one option.
I haven't tried this, but if the coda was a separate song on a second device you could start and immediately pause #2,
then you could start playing #2 without a count-in as desired. (And stop #1)
Not seamless, not elegant, but perhaps workable.
For a jam session, I wouldn't have a problem with setting an appropriate number of repeats in the player, (count attendees, everyone gets one solo [6 jammers=8x]), signaling when the screen says "FINAL", play through the coda, done.
If the group wants more of that tune, play it again...and, as a bonus, you get to practice the coda again.

Hi BOB,
I considered having a finite number of repeats as you suggested, but it being a jazz jam and all, we like to keep it more flexible in order to accomodate longer/shorter solos and additional choruses when trading fours. Your first option makes sense, but seems like it'd be tough keeping a good groove going with the start/stop.

I would so much love the possibility to go to a coda/ending, even though the song hasen't played all the repeats.
I imagine a button on the screen that says kinda like "Coda mode" or "Coda"
So if you hit it, it will change color,
and next time the cursor reaches the coda sign , it will jump to the coda.
- and play the ending.

By using DS or DC al coda instructions you can include the coda in the song's form and have it play every song repeat.

Jan, do you mean for improvisation, where, when you are finished the solo, you want to trigger to go to the Coda to end?
If so, this would require a major rewrite of the player as currently it creates the entire song in its memory, before it starts playing.
Is there a way to trigger that the next chorus will be the final chorus of the song? If not, would love to see this feature added. This would be very helpful feature for performances so that you don't have to necessarily play a pre-defined number of choruses.

I'm using android tablets or phones.
I can hit a space on my bluetooth keyboard to stop the play. This is great! I can set 30 repetitions and call for the head out and stop the backing track when we're done.
My feature request.
I would like to be able to hit a key on the keyboard and go to the Final repetition. This way I could call for the head out. Hit a key. And the backing track would take the coda and play the end of the song.
If there is already a way to do this with a keyboard or by using the touch screen that would be even better.
