Tuning - Change Playback Pitch
Is there a way to tune down. By that I mean, although the chart would show a C chord the actual concert pitch played would be a B. The cover band I play in has me tune my guitars a half step down. So all my guitar are tune a 1/2step down. Just would be nice not to have to retune a guitar when I use Irealb.
Thanks for your time!

Adjusting concert pitch to other than A=440
Hi everyone! My request to the staff is to add a possibility to type in the Hz for the note A, to anything other than the common 440Hz. Sometime I play with instruments which are permanently tuned in other reference pitch (like 380, 415, 446, 472Hz...), and then using iRealPro is impossible. In this case, it would make much sense if I could tune the software to match the instrument, rather than the opposite. I guess that is should be a tiny addition to the code, as many guitar tuners in the app stores have this option.
Thank you so much for considering this feature! It will open the door for many of us who are classical musicians wishing to improvise :)
Adjusting payback pitch please!
Hi, I'm waiting for this feature which probably is so easy to add to the app... You see it in every cheap/free tuning app so how is it that it's absent in ireal pro?
What I request is a very simple feature that allows to calibrate A4 to a pitch different than 440Hz, say with a range of 400 to 470. This will allow me and so many others to play with instruments tuned to anything other than A=440. Please add it in the update! I'll be very grateful if you do.
Thank you!
Adjust the standard A4=440 to anything from 415 to 466 Hz
Hi, I was very happy to see that in the last update, iReal Pro opens the option to adjust A4 to a range from 430 to 450 Hz.
As a classical musician I will benefit so much from a range from 415 to 466 Hz, practically this means both a semi-tone above and a semi-tone below the standard A=440.
Many classical string and wind instruments are tuned that far from 440 and therefore this simple feature will be a huge advantage and will allow so many musicians to read and play with the app without preparing the instruments for it (sometime as much as re-stringing the whole set is necessary).
I'm sure that I'm not alone in this need; and if the range could already be extended to 430-450 in the app, I guess that it's not much more complicated to allow for 415-466 adjustment.
Thanks a lot, I'll be happy to get an update once this feature is built into an update in the future :)
