This is a request that I made back in January, 2013. I think it would really eliminate clutter on the playlist panel if this could be implemented.
Yes! With my collection still growing the need to organise into folders becomes urgent.
I totally agree! I have tons of playlists and scrolling through them all is cumbersome and time consuming. This would be an awesome addition!
Totally agree as well. Would be great to organize the playlists in folders for like different projects to keep a better overview. So yes, please!
It could be useful to have subfolders for playlists. I'm having so many playlists and it could be convenient to be able to arrange the playlists into subfolders
I second that wish - the same thing with a lot playlist that I would like to keep and the new ones are way down at the end... a drag if you are charting new songs and have to add them to the playlist and constantly scrolling down.
Or a possibility to blend out some playlists.
Best regards - Christoph
Agreed, sub folders would make things a lot tidier.
I think a few updates ago i read something about being able to put playlists in a folder, to keep it a bit more organized... still wanting the feature very much. So if possible... would be great if i could put all my playlists for different projects in separate folders in the near future. Looking forward to it!

Hi Ton,
You can cast your vote in this survey here:

Thank you!
Hi,
When can we expect the ability to organize playlists in folders? So one doesn't end up with 300 lists up front...Should be a pretty easy feature to add. Thanks for a great app!
Cheers
Uri
I second that
I third it! To keep things simple, this could perhaps be an optional advanced feature that had to be explicitly switched on. This seems appropriate as it’s probably only long-term users who see the need for folders (probably takes long-term use to produce so many lists that folders seem like a good idea).
Absolutely necessary for me.
Very useful to me!
A new feature request. Playlist folders would be great for when working with different groups, you could have setlists for each group, or singer, project, etc.:)
I completely agree!!!! Is it possible to create sub folders? Very useful in organizing.
I have many playlists for different groups. It would be great if I have a folder for my bluegrass group one for my jazz group one for playlists of artists that I’ve downloaded from the forum. Etc. etc..
I’ve tried combining some playlists, but it really defeats the purpose, and makes things much more complicated.
How about folders for playlists? It would be helpful organizationally to have folders for those of us with large amounte of playlists for different groups/clients. Or maybe an archive function for old playlists?
Unfortunately the "Vote for feature" survey link doesn't work anymore; it leads to a page with the following text:
I would like to add my vote for a playlist folder feature.Quote:
Please send us a message with your suggestion/feedback.
Although we can't respond to each one, we do read them all and appreciate you taking the time to send us your thoughts.
Thank you!
I have so many playlists for different projects that a flat, non-hierarchical list is messy and cumbersome.
It's almost as bad as back in the early days of Apple Macs filesystems that also couldn't support folders/directories.
As far as most feature requests go, addition of a playlist folder/expandable/collapsible playlist organiser would see one of the simplest and beneficial.
Being able to create folders (and sub-floders) to organize playlists is a feature that I’d really, really love to see.
I Drag all the playlists that I use most often to the top, but I accidentally pressed the sort button just to see what it would do on my Mac and it was undoable now everything is in alphabetical order. Too bad there’s not a way to switch back to what I had..?
Maybe I’ll stick an * in front of playlists I use most ? Any other sorting suggestions?
