hi,
I'm Charlie.
I just bought iReal Pro.
I'm using it on my Windows 10 laptop with AmiduOS.
I have listened to a few songs.
I do not hear the melody of the songs.
am I doing something wrong?
I am very disappointed.
would someone please reply and tell me if they have any thoughts?
thank you
Why did you think there would be melodies?

It's a chord chart app with a built-in backing band.
Was there something in the description that wasn't clear?

Hi James,
You can learn melodies by ear on youtube. There are apps that can slow down recorded music without changing the
Pitch.
If you read Musical notation, you can purchase "fake books" from Hal Leonard and others. There are many online
Sellers of sheet music.
Some libraries may also have music books.
IReal pro is "chord charts only".

The addition of staff & note entry/playback would make iReal the perfect songwriting tool.
Hello Pastrnak
Have you used any notation programs? I am pretty sure you can export the iReal template with its chords into certain other programs? Perhaps somebody can comment on how well that works.? I have found that with using finale, laying out the bars and putting the cords in is pretty time-consuming. If the iReal format with chords could be imported into finale or Sibelius etc. I think that could be a real timesaver in creating lead sheets.
