Outra Vez 1 - Antonio-Carlos Jobim
Hi folks,
I'm not sure where to find the right context here in the forums to post this. I searched for this song but it doesn't appear to have a page, although it's included in the library.
Anyway, wanted to recommend two edits to the chart:
1) The [A] section is missing the opening repeat bar line, causing the repeat to go back and include the Intro. This creates a mess for playback.
2) This one I'm less sure about: I don't get what's going on with the Coda. The Coda section shouldn't be right after the "To Coda" symbol; otherwise, there's no need for a coda; just string the measures end to end. In reality, the code here is trying to denote the outro (which is identical to the intro); but critically, it should "To Coda" two measures sooner, right before the CM9.
BONUS: I'm not an iReal Pro expert, but ideally, you should only go to that Coda the last time through. So if you set the chart for 7 repeats, it should only go to the Coda after the 7th time through. If that's a feature iRP supports, then bravo. If that's the default handling of Codas, then point (2) will work fine as long as the "To Coda" is shifted forwards 2 bars.
But (1) also needs to be fixed.
I know how to fix (1), but I don't know the right way to offer back the fix to the community. And (2) I don't know how to answer.
Thanks!
