Giant Steps - John Coltrane

Hi,

For sure the original version of Coltrane’s masterpiece is challenging enough.
So why should someone even try to modify the chords?
It’s because I’m trying to understand what happens harmonically.
Maybe this could work in an R&B or Neo Soul setting.
