Need help exporting from old ipad

I have an old ipad, running Ireal b on ios 5.1.1. I have a large library of songs that I would like to export to my newer ipad running Ireal pro. In the before-times, this was done by emailing the html file from the ipad, but it seems that there's no way to get an old ipad ios to talk to any email servers, due to new security features (I even tried setting up an AOL email account to see if that would work, to no avail). Is there any other way to export the song library?

I have tried connecting to icloud or dropbox, but once again, these sites will not talk to an old ipad.

I tried to back-up the old ipad to itunes on my Mac and then see if I could transfer the files to my new ipad. When I did that, the only file I could find backed up was "UserSongs.plist" which was 1.2MB. Is there any way to use that file on my new ipad?

Has anyone found a work-around for this? Many thanks in advance.
