iReal pro has 16 spaces in each system (line)
Usually divided into 4, 4-space measures (bars)
Some chart are written with 8, 2-space measures (bars)
By adding or removing spaces in the editor it is possible to convert one type of chart to the other. It may be easier to write a NEW chart displayed as you wish.
Always edit a DUPLICATE. That way you will not loose or mess up the original.

Thanks but it is a bit complex.
Couldn't you add feature to change "Model" for an existing song or duplicate in a new song using new model?
Yup, it’s complex.
Many charts have bars that contain more than two chords or chords that aren’t played on beat 2 (of 4) so a format of just 2-space bars won’t work. Charts that are a random mix of different length measures or that contain measures that “wrap” between systems (lines) are difficult to read.
It requires musician judgement to choose how to best display a chart so it will both play correctly (for practice) AND be easy to read and follow for the musician.

Sometimes you just need to condense part of a chart.
Musicians need to choose the best way to display each chart for their individual needs.

Yes, for us it is "Landscape" mode on a tablet...
That's because whe display 8 blocs per line...
