Default Importing My Charts to iRealPro

    Hi,

Anyone know how to import my own charts into iReal Pro?

I don't need backing tracks, just want to keep all my charts in iReal.

    Thanks,

    Pete

Currently, charts can be imported into the app in iReal pro format (code) either from the forums or from another iRp app device via email.
Personal or original charts are added to the app using the on-board editor. (One by one, measure by measure)
That is how every one of the thousands of charts available on the forums were made.

iReal pro cannot currently import or convert charts from other formats.
    Pdf, biab, jpg. Finale etc.

with iReal Pro charts, they play and transpose.

However there are other apps that import PDF and jpg (png etc. files) designed specifically for musicians. (Some use these apps multi-tasking with iReal Pro for backing although you said this was not needed).
Have a look at this post and thread - it is a little old since it was posted, but will give you an idea.

(Run a search for other references that might be helpful.)

Apps such as unrealbook and forScore seem to have lasted the distance for iOS devices and MobileSheets* on Android. Obviously they cannot transpose from the image file because of the nature of the file format. They have search, song index, setlists, categories, attaching audio files to songs etc. so could be useful. Some use iReal Pro to construct specific chord charts for their songs, then save the image and import into one of these apps (keeping iReal Pro for other situations where instant transpose is necessary).

    * Mobilesheets Pro has been released superseding the original Mobilesheets.
