    I also find the automatic tempo change a nuissance. I would prefer being able to Set the Tempo (just as we do with the Key Signature). As for indicating the tempo with text on the chart, I was able to type a "♩= xxx " notation previously, but newer versions have disallowed many of the symbols I frequently used before (which is another nuissance).
    There's two kinds of mistakes you can play: The ones you notice, and the ones somebody else might notice.
