We took a ‘real world’ approach to the backing chords, typical of what a guitarist or pianist would play at a gig, with some of the voicings adding extra notes not specifically described in the chord quality. Typically they also leave out the root (especially in jazz). We did this to sound more realistic. The midi file is derived from this. We are aware this might not be ideal for some of you.

The voicing diagrams are more accurate showing the notes in the chord quality.

Is there a setting for true chords no extra notes and with the root note.
"The voicing diagrams are more accurate showing the notes in the chord quality." Could you explain what you mean by this?

no setting. We may review what the voicings are for different styles in the future.

If you look at them for piano for instance, you will see the roots and the notes of the quality for all the voicings shown.
